Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. It’s not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose it’s just stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
Join me in a moment of silence followed by The Serenity Prayer:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Our 7th tradition states that Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.- This year though we are online, we still have expenses. ***The chairperson should introduce each panelist. (If there are two panelists, each panelist has 15-20 min to share; if there are three panelists each has 10-15 minutes to share on the topic) Then open up the meeting to others by a show of hands.
Thank the panelists for their service and close with the prayer of your choice 10 minutes before the end of the hour. CSCYPAA host will make the next panel chair a co-host 5 minutes before the next panel starts.
