Favorite memory from a CSCYPAA event?
“Sharing the view from our hike with some of my closest friends in recovery after an awesome speaker meeting!!”

“Too many to list! Playing an intense board game with 5 others until 7:30 AM and watching the sunrise over the runways at BDL airport was a top moment. Several instances of non-AA hotel guests or employees taking an interest in our event and even attending parts of it. AA hotel guests who were not aware of CSCYPAA before arriving were able to find a meeting where they did not expect one because of our event!”

How has CSCYPAA impacted your sobriety?
“The events are amazing and the members are so kind. Everyone being so helpful and welcoming has allowed me to break down my walls I still hold up.”

“CSCYPAA has drastically impacted my sobriety. I have learned so much about the service structure of AA, about the concepts and traditions of this program in a way I don’t think I would have otherwise, and I have met so many amazing people who genuinely care about carrying the message to as many people as possible. It has been a huge turning point in my sobriety and I am forever grateful to be a CSCYPAA member.”

Why did you get involved with CSCYPAA?
“To stay sober. Personally, service work has been one of the most critical and unexpected things that has helped me.”
